Current Appointment

I currently serve as the Acting Associate Dean of Academic Affairs in the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business at Auburn University. I am also the Harbert Eminent Scholar in Business Analytics in the Department of Business Analytics and Information Systems in the Harbert College of Business. I am a Professor with higher education administrative experience including 12 years as a Department Chair (Florida State and Auburn), 4 years as a research center director (Texas A&M), and 4 years as Senior Associate Dean (Florida State University College of Business).

  • Assisted Founding Director of Center for MIS (Texas A&M University) in establishing initial $250,000 funding of Center
  • As Director of Center for MIS, managed relationships with 20 – 25 Board of Advisors contributing $5000 annually for participation (Texas A&M)
  • Managed development of online MS in MIS program which generated auxiliary money for Florida State MIS Department (approximately $2500 / student / semester; FSU)
  • Developed Women in IT Symposium for MIS Department (approximately $10,000 annually; Texas A&M and FSU)
  • Developed Mobile Technology Applications Project as a proof of concept for MIS Department Center Proposal (FSU)
